Estimation of Condom Users in Korea

Abstract
|

|
The condom practice rate in Korean married women aged 15-44 years increased from 3.2 percent in 1971 to 16.5 percent in 2000. In 2000, an estimated 1,121,242 married women use condoms for family planning. The number of condoms used to prevent unintended pregnancies within marriage is an estimated 79,425,480. Nationwide, 198 million condom was used within marriage and outside marriage including extramarital & unmarried.
